Bounty of the Hudson 2008

I’ll be writing about some of the great wines in detail as the week goes on, but I just wanted to say how impressed I was with many of the wineries that attended. I kind of feel like the Hudson Valley is the Rodney Dangerfield of the New York wine world. You know — “We don’t get no respect!” And it is true that in the past, some of the wines have been less-than-great. We held back a bit and only came home with six bottles from the festival, but if we had a slightly bigger budget, there are a few more that I would have loved to add to our cellar. Stay tuned for details!
